Todd
M. Pfeil graduated from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha,
Nebraska in 1992 and is a founding member of the law office of Pfeil
& Millonzi, LLC. Prior to opening Pfeil & Millonzi, LLC,
Todd worked as general counsel for a Wisconsin-based construction
company for 12 years. In this role, Todd practiced in the areas
of construction law, employment law, business organizations, real
estate and risk management.
In addition, Todd managed the Human Resources, Risk Management
and Safety functions of the company and was the corporate secretary.
Todds experience includes the successful resolution of multi-million
dollar construction claims, defense of various employee suits, (including
discrimination claims, contract claims and OSHA/MSHA claims), harassment
investigations, sale and purchase of real estate, sale and purchases
of businesses, drafting of commercial leases and contracts, sales
and use tax issues and alternative insurance mechanisms such as
offshore captive insurance programs.
Prior to attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and receiving
a B.S. Degree in Agriculture, Todd worked on a dairy farm outside
Waunakee, Wisconsin for 9 years. During this time, Todd was an active
member of the Waunakee FFA chapter receiving the Star Chapter Farmer
Award and showing both dairy and beef cattle at the Dane County
and Stoughton Fairs.
Todd's representation of small business owners, construction companies,
farm families and individuals is based on open communication with
his client and a persistent advocacy for the needs of his clients.
Todd resides in Madison, Wisconsin with his two daughters. His
interests include motorcycling, downhill skiing, hunting and reading
United States military history.
