Kay
A. Millonzi graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law
School, cum laude in December, 1999. Prior to opening Pfeil &
Millonzi, LLC, Kay was General Counsel for Wisconsins largest
home builder, Veridian Homes, LLC. Before this position, Kay worked
as Associate Counsel for Edward Kraemer & Sons, Inc. a national
road and bridge contractor. In both of these positions, Kay practiced
in the areas of real estate, construction law, employment law, business
start-ups and risk management. At Pfeil & Millonzi, LLC, Kay represents
municipal, business and individual clients on various issues, including
residential and commercial real estate matters, land use issues, construction
matters, insurance coverage disputes, contracts and business entity
setups and municipal law. Kay is a committed, detail-oriented lawyer
who understands the needs of small businesses.
Kay completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
in 1989 receiving a Bachelors degree in Business Administration
majoring in Risk Management, Insurance and Human Resources. Kay
also received her Masters of Science in Risk Management and
Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991. After
graduating with her Masters Degree and prior to returning
to Law School, Kay worked for five years as Risk Manager for American
Girl, the direct mail marketer of childrens books and dolls
where she was responsible for managing the insurance, safety, crisis
management and trademark and copyright programs. During this time
Kay had an article published on insurance coverage for trademark
& copyright matters in the Risk and Insurance Management Society
magazine.
Kay resides in Black Earth, Wisconsin with her three children.
She is a former member of the Village Board of Trustees and Plan
Commission. Her interests include playing piano, golf, volleyball,
motorcycling and camping.
